St Andrew's will continue to use its charitable status to the benefit of resident care by allocating any surpluses back into new developments and improved care. We are in a unique position, as the largest charitable mental health care provider in the UK, so we can continue to innovate and refine our practices to ensure we provide the best partnerships for the NHS and our commissioners
We understand that regionally-centred care is a keystone in providing better access to care, so we are expanding our trusted reputation into new sites across the UK and will build upon our existing sites at Northampton, Essex and Birmingham.
Our charitable status will also allow us to invest in ground-breaking research that will benefit the mental health sector as a whole, as well as help us offer the very best care and treatment. This will be achieved through the establishment of our Acadmic Centre in partnership with the Institute of Psychiatry.
However, above all, the preservation of the dignity and respect of our patients, staff and visitors is of paramount importance to us.
