Medical Library
The Charity provides a small specialist medical library offering an information service to all members of staff working within the fields of mental health, learning disability, brain injury and/or neurological impairment. We are members of several Inter-Library Loan Schemes which enables us to obtain books and articles held by other libraries.
External users and students are welcome to access our reference facilities (please make an appointment). An annual fee entitles external users to borrow six items from stock at any one time. Our normal loan period is four weeks and members are limited to four items at one time.

Our library has internet access, which is available to book in sessions of one hour. We also offer assistance in searching the internet and on-line healthcare databases if you require.
Our Collections
Our extensive collection consists of works on developmental disability, mental health, brain injury and other related disciplines. We also have a historical collection available for loan and a variety of journals for reference use.

Opening Hours
Monday - Friday: 10.00 am - 5.00pm
We are closed at weekends and Bank Holidays, although members may obtain a key from reception to enter out of hours, by prior arrangement with the librarian.
