For any employee interested in their development, at any level or in any department, a dedicated Management Development Team is available to offer advice. The team provides transformation opportunities through - guidance and the delivery of courses, workshops and coaching, mentoring, secondments, leadership development and support for continuing professional development (CPD).
Using the expertise from both our internal training team and partnerships with a number of highly regarded external training providers, we are able to provide a breadth of learning experience to individuals and teams to support their development.
The Charity is committed to ensuring all employees achieve, maintain and enhance their working practice by understanding what is required from them in their role, supported by a range of behavioural competencies. These competencies describe how an individual should approach their work and our development programmes are aligned to each of these competencies to ensure that support can be provided in a targeted manner.
Our development courses are designed to enhance performance and support progression both within teams and professions. A calendar of programmes is produced annually which focuses on specific business and individual needs. Staff determine their development needs as part of their Individual Performance and Development Review with their line manager which is carried out twice a year.
