Mission StatementThe Medical Library aims to support staff with their information needs whilst working alongside patients with mental health difficulties, learning disability, brain injury and/or neurological impairment. About Us We are a small specialist medical library offering a library and information service to all members of staff working within the fields of mental health, learning disability, brain injury and/or neurological impairment. The library is a member of the Health Care Library and Information Network, the Nursing Union List of Journals and the Psychiatric Library Co-operative Scheme; we satisfy requests for information by contacting colleagues in these networks or those working in the British Library. External users are welcome to access our reference facilities by appointment only. A photocopier is available (5p per A4 sheet and 10p per A3). An annual fee entitles external users to borrow six items from stock at any one time (Contact the Head Librarian for further details). Students are welcome to access our reference facilities by appointment only or after an induction. To borrow library stock, there is an annual fee or minimum fee for up to 3 months use.
