Journals throughout the 1990s onwards are for reference use only but a photocopier is available in the library. A charge of 5p for A4 and 10 for A3 will be made to non-members of staff.
If you require articles from journals not held at St. Andrew's please complete a photocopy declaration form and staff will obtain a copy as soon as possible.

Books
The collection consists of works on developmental disability, mental health, brain injury and other related disciplines of interest to health care professionals. The normal loan period is 4 weeks and members are limited to 4 items at one time. We have a historical collection which is also available for loan. (Eventually I would like our Heritage database available on the Internet so that users and other libraries in the region can search our holdings).
Photocopying
There is a photocopier in the main library, just outside the office. Users are requested to complete copyright declaration forms if requesting articles from other libraries.
Literature Searches
Medical Library staff will carry out detailed literature searches on request. Please complete a form which can be obtained from library staff. Alternatively library members may carry out their own literature searches using the the Trent Electronic Library for Health via the Internet.
