About the library
The Patients Library was opened by Lady Juliet Townsend on 5th October 1998 and named by a patient in a competition run to advertise the new facility.
The library was set up in co-operation with Northamptonshire Library and Information Service (NLIS). Stock is processed to the NLIS standard and is added to the Public Library catalogue (TALIS).
The Patients' Library at St. Andrews aims to provide a comprehensive resource area for patients with psychiatric illness, developmental disabilities and acquired brain injury.

Monday - Friday: 1.30pm - 4.30pm
