| |  | | | | Staff | | | | | | | | | Management of Clare House is provided by individuals experienced in the management of secure environments, of personnel and of patient care.
Assessments, treatment, care, social and activity based interventions are undertaken by a multi-professional group including:
 qualified and unqualified nursing staff with a range of training and life skills
medical staff comprising consultant psychiatrists experienced in the management of individuals in secure environments supported by qualified medical personnel
social work practitioners with experience as Approved Social Workers (ASW)
occupational therapists trained to identify the dynamics that can impact on a person's ability to function and to offer treatment aimed at promoting optimal personal, social and vocational functioning
clinical psychologists providing psycho therapeutic assessments and interventions
fitness instructor to develop exercise programmes and technical instructors who, under the supervision of qualified OT's assist in the implementation of therapy programmes
A variety of clinical support services including general practice, pharmacy, dentistry, optician, chiropody, physiotherapy etc are provided in liaison with local trusts and primary care professionals.
Hotel and maintenance services are provided by third party contractors.
All staff prior to working with patients, undergo a mandatory induction and comprehensive statutory training programme.
