Our Facilites for the Mental Health Service
Set amongst 19th century buildings and beautifully landscaped gardens, St Andrew’s Healthcare has some excellent facilities to assist in normal life and rehabilitation. Following appropriate risk assessment, care pathways aim to promote health and wellbeing, as well as independent living skills.
Access to a wide range of activities and facilities are available, including a multi-gym, heated indoor swimming pool, primary care suite, hairdresser, café, library, adult education, creative and vocational therapies, sport and a multi-denominational chapel.
In addition to clinical support, we have recently formed a partnership with Workbridge, a community rehabilitation charity that focuses on integrating work skills into treatment and care. This can be conducted outside or within the clinical area and encourages independence and vocational training.
