St Andrew's Birmingham Launch
Opened on Friday 20th February by Lynne Jones MP, St Andrew’s, Birmingham, welcomed over 100 psychiatrists, commissioners, service users and local residents.
The opening of the charity’s third hospital was marked with speeches, tours and a guest luncheon.

Speaking on the day, Lynne Jones MP commented, “It is a pleasure to open this new facility which offers the highest quality care to individuals within the Midlands.”
The new facility provides specialist secure services and comprehensive care pathways for 128 adult male service users affected by Mental Health problems, Learning Disabilities and Autistic Spectrum Disorders. With four levels of security, Medium, Enhanced Low and Low, as well as a Step-Down, Pre-Discharge unit, the Birmingham development follows St Andrew’s tradition of providing public healthcare in the finest environment, within the appropriate security setting.
