Version 2 of SASNOS scale added which includes defined verbal descriptors to aid rating, prompted by user feedback (please note that whilst the items remain unchanged, the order of the Inhibition and Aggression domains has been changed from version 1 of the form).
Version 2 of Excel scoring programme added (two are available that are compatible with older and newer versions of Excel) – this calculates T-scores so all the domains/sub-domains have a common distribution (mean = 50, sd = 10) derived from ratings made about neurologically healthy people. This will enable meaningful profiling and comparisons. The programme also plots rudimentary graphs of the various outputs.
Updated PowerPoint template to enable simultaneous plots of ratings made at different times added to track recovery and response to rehabilitation.
Guidance Notes for Version 2 added - some information about the scale and how to use it. This will see regular updates and will eventually grow into a fully fledged user manual.
