Facilities for Men

St Andrew’s offers service users effective, tailored treatment set amongst state-of-the-art environments.  All service users will have access to a variety of individual and group based activities which occur on the wards.  In addition, users have available a range of therapeutic, recreational and educational facilities.

St Andrew’s Healthcare, Northampton offers from medium secure to predischarge facilities for men with  learning disabilities, mental disorders and Autistic Spectrum Disorder.  Subject to risk assessments, service users have access to a range of recreational and physical activities including 106 acres of landscaped gardens across the campus, a resident recreation centre, multi-gym, indoor swimming pool and a primary care centre.  Service users also have access to Workbridge, a community-orientated charity which aims to improve independent living skills through work and community-based training, all within the security of St Andrew’s main campus.

St Andrew’s Healthcare, Essex offers additional secure services for men, including a low secure personality disorder care pathway, whilst providing regional care. Created as a community environment, the purpose-built facility features therapy and treatment accommodation, group activities as well as intensive care rooms. Residents at St Andrew’s Healthcare, Essex have access to a large courtyard garden, additional garden facilities, social therapy areas, a primary care facility and a sports hall.

St Andrew’s Healthcare, Birmingham provides mental health, learning disability and ASD services to the West Midlands region, as well as working closely to enhance our care pathways from Northampton.  Recreational facilities include a sports hall, gym, cafe, music studio and multi-faith room.  A pastoral service is available for all service users.

St Andrew’s Healthcare, Nottinghamshire provides specialist secure services and comprehensive care pathways for users diagnosed with Learning Disabilities and Autistic Spectrum Disorders.  Modern, comfortable facilities include a cafe, gym, multi-faith room, courtyards and gardens, easily accessible by each ward.
