Within St Andrew’s Healthcare, we offer a specialist service for people primarily over the age of 55, who have challenging mental health problems that require safe accommodation and care. We take a person-centred approach to care and rehabilitation, ensuring that quality of life is respected and maintained at all times.

In addition, we offer a dedicated dementia service for the care of those with early-onset, acquired, static or progressive dementia, and a unit for Huntington's Disease which admits adults.
Individualised Therapeutic Care Pathways
We offer a variety of care pathways and units of open and low secure accommodation. This also includes our new 16 bed specialist facility for older women, where they can receive dedicated care in an environment tailored specifically to their needs.
We facilitate the movement of individuals from low secure to open accommodation as sensitively as possible. This process allows careful risk and symptom management to aid the individual through the care pathway and ensure the best possible treatment.
Care Tailored Towards the Individual
There is no time limit on the length of stay. Some of our residents move successfully through the service and are able to return to suitable placements in their local area. For those requiring longer-term care, we provide a homely and safe environment, set amongst the grounds of a 19th Century country house. This also includes a facility for those requiring higher levels of physical or palliative care.
