We have a wide range of care pathways based on the changing needs of our service users. Where possible, many service users can progress through the pathway and be rehabilitated back into the community. If that is not possible, we have several long-term care units are focused on developing a homely, safe environment.
Frailer service users can move to our higher dependency facility on the ground floor, where they will receive specialist assistance and palliative care if required.
We encourage service user-involvement at all stages of care, and hold regular community meetings on all of the units with representation on both the divisional and corporate service user groups. The support of an independent advocacy service is also available.
