The St Andrew’s Healthcare older people’s service is centred on the service user. Care pathways are created dependent on the individual’s needs and care is tailored to encourage independent living within a supportive, respectful and safe environment.
Assessment
Multi disciplinary assessment takes place on all of the units as an integral part of the Care Programme Approach. All factors relating to the person’s strengths and needs are therefore taken into account.
Care, Treatment and Rehabilitation
For the duration of their stay, service users can expect to receive high quality specialist care, research based treatment and rehabilitation in an environment which is both safe and stimulating. The treatment approach is individually tailored towards meeting the needs of patients, within a framework of a careful, consistent and regularly evaluated treatment plan.
