The Workbridge Woodwork Department offers individuals the opportunity to develop new skills making products for sale in our Garden Centre and other local outlets ranging from bird boxes and insect feeders to furniture or bespoke pieces to our customers exact specifications. The team also undertakes site maintenance and grounds tasks in and around Workbridge under the supervision and guidance of our Vocational Skills Instructors.
Service users can acquire a variety of skills and are trained in both traditional techniques using hand tools as well as more modern methods using power tools. We encourage new product designs and ideas from our team and our customers and aim to build whatever the customer needs within their budget and timescale.
