To accomplish this we are now expanding our Physical Healthcare service and now have an exciting opportunity fora Nurse Practitioner to be at the forefront of this service delivery.
You will provide physical healthcare for the presenting patient and be able to demonstrate safe clinical decision-making and expert physical health care for patients within a mental health setting.
The post holder will provide care for the presenting patient, from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care.
You will be able to diagnose and manage acute, chronic and long term conditions, integrating both pharmacological and non-pharmacological based treatment methods into a management plan.
We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner who has recent experience in urgent or primary care and has a special interest in one or more of the following areas: diabetes, women’s health, epilepsy, long term conditions, tissue viability and/or palliative care.
This is a very wide and varied role, which will provide fresh challenges to the right candidate.
