Our psychiatrists are central to our core focus of transforming the lives of people experiencing complex mental health illnesses or disorders. They lead on the provision of specialist care across a number of services including Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Learning Disability, CAMHS, Adult Mental Health, Brain Injury, Dementia and Huntington’s Disease. Leading a multi-disciplinary team, you will oversee the management of patients with complex mental disorders. You will have MRCPsych or equivalent and must hold a relevant CCT or be close to completion.

There are also opportunities to attend our regular internal CPD events and for you to develop a medico-legal and out-patient practice as part of the St Andrew’s Consultancy Service.

This is an opportunity for non-consultant Doctors or General Practitioners to help shape our essential services. Joining an experienced and supportive team, you will demonstrate strong clinical skills within your professional field.
MRCPsych or equivalent is preferable and membership of the GMC will be required.
Separately remunerated on call duties are also available.

Clinical Teaching Fellow in Medical Education – Northampton
These unique posts, initially offered on a 12 month contract, provide rich opportunities to develop interests and expertise in medical education whilst broadening clinical experience in a specialist, mental health setting.
Applications are welcomed from doctors who have completed foundation training and core trainees. Specialty Grade Doctors wishing to gain broader experience in specialisms will also be considered.
