Clinical Nurse Lead
Mansfield - Wollaton Ward
Salary £27,069 to £36,647 + shift enhancements.
We are looking for an experienced mental health or learning disability nurse to work as a Clinical Nurse Leader, providing clinical leadership to the team
Wollaton provides a medium secure forensic setting for men who have learned to use challenging ways of behaving in order to cope with routine challenges in life. The ward looks after men with a diagnosis of ASD in the least restrictive way possible. We are working in a compassionate and caring culture and we are looking for someone who can support this culture and drive change forward as a clinical nurse leader. You will be the senior nurse on shift and we would like a good strong role model and someone who is passionate and dynamic who has innovative ways of thinking. Our ultimate objective is to help the men to feel safe enough to learn new ways of behaving so that they can move towards community living.

The role of Clinical Nurse Leader
You’ll be the most senior nurse on the ward, maintaining a high profile and visible presence, whilst working alongside a multi-disciplinary team. You’ll lead the nursing shift team, driving the clinical model and contribute to improvements in practice.
What you will need for this role
Substantial experience of working in mental health, learning disability, ASD or Neuropsychiatry services is going to be important. Leadership, excellent communication and people management skills are also key, as you’ll be relied upon to keep your team happy and motivated.
