A top 20 UK charity, St Andrew’s is a unique provider of specialist care in mental health and learning disability.  We aspire to deliver truly world class, holistic services within our outstanding, modern facilities.  We also have a responsibility, as a charity, to educate the next generation of professionals and to innovate, researching new treatments, therapies and environments to achieve better outcomes for our patients.

We are committed to improving the physical health of all our patients by delivering high quality clinical care which is value based and leads to outcomes that matter to the patient and their carers. Alongside this we are striving to achieve parity of esteem, giving equal value to Physical Health as to Mental Health. To accomplish this we are now expanding our Physical Healthcare service and now have an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Paramedic Practitioner to be at the forefront of this service delivery.

You will provide a quality, comprehensive, dental nursing service for patients at St Andrew’s Healthcare Northampton (STAH), including maintaining the necessary equipment, records and paperwork. The Dental Nurse has a key role in encouraging good dental health by providing preventive advice to patients and their carers and advising on pre and post treatment care.

St Andrew’s Healthcare is committed to the career development of our Nursing staff. We offer a fluid and non-linear approach to enhancing opportunities for education and learning which enables Nurses to develop both clinically and professionally into leadership roles within the Charity.

We are able to offer many development opportunities to enhance your  practice and leadership skills, for example, working with teams of expert professionals, weekly CPD sessions, opportunities to work with our Research Centre, other courses relevant to your practice and personal development.

If you are looking to take the next step in your career there’s no better place to do it than in our Physical Health team here at St Andrew’s.
