Location: Essex

Salary:  £19,209 - £23,278  depending on experience

(plus London fringe allowance £1250)

Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week

 As part of ongoing changes within the charity we are seeking to appoint a Finance Assistant in Essex to support the wider Finance Team and the Essex IPU (Integrated Practice Unit). 

 The role:

You will manage all elements of the cashier function, providing a personal daily banking and cashiering service to the IPU and to patients, which will include issuing and receiving cash and/or cheques) adhering to the Charity’s financial policy and processes.

 You will ensure that accurate records are regularly maintained and adhere to strict financial controls and robust financial procedures whilst providing a key link between the Northampton Finance Team & Cash Office and your IPU.

 A bit about you:  

The successful candidate will be AAT qualified or equivalent or have an interest in pursuing this type of qualification.

 You will have the ability to process financial information & will be a confident communicator, able to discuss and liaise effectively with internal stakeholders at all levels.

 A proficient working knowledge of Excel is essential & experience of working with Patient Monies Administration systems & SAP would be advantageous but not essential.

 Occasional travel to Northampton may be required.
