A bit about us

A top 20 UK charity, St Andrew’s is a unique provider of specialist care and treatment for those with complex mental health needs.  We aspire to work together with patients and carers to ensure that our patients get the best possible outcomes, in terms of their mental, physical and spiritual needs.  Our independence means we can always put patients’ interests at the heart of decision making, while re-investing any financial surpluses in frontline services.  We have recently transformed the Charity and introduced Integrated Practice Units (IPUs) as the vehicle to ensure our patients consistently get the best possible outcomes and local teams gain more control and responsibility.

The role

We are looking for an experienced administrator to provide efficient, effective and pro-active administration support to our governance structure.

Your role will include:

  • Co-ordinating the ongoing review of Charity-wide policies and procedures by liaising with their authors and owners
  • Providing progress updates on the policy and procedure review to our General Counsel and Company Secretary
  • Assisting with the preparation of guidance and communications, and guiding and advising managers on our policy and procedure processes
  • All forms of day-to-day administration relating to this subject matter area
  • Maintaining the Governance pages and information packs on our intranet pages
  • Providing support for any Governance related meetings to include taking of minutes and action notes, and the preparation and distribution of agenda and papers
  • Maintaining accurate and efficient filing systems

Reporting to the Head of Audit and working closely with the Charity’s General Counsel and Company Secretary, this post will offer you a brilliant opportunity to develop expertise in governance services.
About you
You will have good communication and time management skills and be comfortable liaising with a wide range of colleagues across the Charity.
You will have a good level of administration skills and have an eye for detail and a high degree of accuracy.  You will also need a positive and enthusiastic outlook and a strong work ethic.
Your success in this role will ensure future opportunities to develop and grow within the Charity.

If this sounds like you then we’d love you to apply here.
