Salary £25,680.00 - £31,469.00 inclusive of Registered Clinical Allowance per annum
Hours: Hours: Full-time, 37.50 hours per week, 7:50 hours per shift x5 shifts per week (Early: 08:00 – 16:00, Late: 12:00 – 20:00) Monday – Friday as per rota requirement

To accomplish this we are expanding our Physical Healthcare service and now have an exciting opportunity for a Practice Nurse to be at the forefront of this service delivery.

You will provide physical healthcare for the presenting patient and be able to demonstrate safe clinical decision-making and expert physical health care for patients within a mental health setting.
You must be a Registered Nurse (Adult) with a current NMC registration.
The post holder will provide care for the presenting patient, from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care.
We are looking for a Practice Nurse who is able to deliver nurse-led triage and effectively problem solve.
You will be able to manage acute, chronic and long term conditions, integrating both pharmacological and non-pharmacological based treatment methods into a management plan. You will also have the ability to manage complex acute and chronic wounds.
We are looking for a Practice Nurse who has recent experience in community, urgent or primary care and has a special interest in one or more of the following areas: diabetes, women’s health, epilepsy, long term conditions, tissue viability and/or palliative care.
We are keen to offer development opportunities to enhance your practice and leadership skills, for example Non-medical prescribing, MSc Advanced Clinical Practice and /or other postgraduate courses, relevant to your practice and personal development.
