Healthcare / Rehabilitation Assistants - Brain Injury IPU

Days and Nights available

Based:  Northampton

From £16,980 plus enhancements (£19,405 inclusive of enhancements based on standard shifts)

Full time - 37.5 hours per week

The Brain Injury Integrated Practice Unit (IPU) caters for both male and female patients who have an Acquired Brian Injury.  The IPU consists of four wards and three houses catering for patients from admission stage through to semi-independent living in the community.

Working in brain injury is highly rewarding and aids personal growth and development due to the variety of individual patient need we support. As a Healthcare Assistant or Nurse there are a variety of learning opportunities, we offer in house training and support and an opportunity to be a key member of a team that is dedicated to improving the experience for our patients and their families.

Your role with us

Rehabilitation Assistants work in all areas of our Clinical Services, supporting staff teams in delivering and focusing on our Patients and their rehabilitation, daily activities and care. The role can be quite active and we would therefore require you to be able to cope with the demands of an active post.

Your profile

Applications are welcomed from well-motivated individuals who are flexible, able to demonstrate high standards of care and who possess excellent written and verbal communication skills alongside good IT literacy. You will need to have resilience to work in a secure healthcare setting and this will help you meet the challenges and expectations of working as a Healthcare Assistant.
