Working at St Andrew’s Healthcare
We’re the UK’s largest independent provider of NHS services, a unique mental health charity aspiring to deliver truly world-class care. Our focus is transforming lives through ground breaking treatment and rehabilitation. You’ll find a welcoming, inclusive culture here, inspired by the shared values of our team. Everyone has their part to play in the amazing work we do – you’ll have every opportunity to get what you want from your career.
As the UK’s leading charitable provider of specialist mental healthcare, St Andrew’s is unlike traditional independent providers. With no shareholders, we can reinvest any surplus into growing our specialist services, building state-of-the-art facilities, developing our staff and providing truly individual care. This IPU is forward-thinking, open to new ideas and a holistic approach is taken to patient care and treatment. We take a psychologically informed approach to working with our men within the context of very likely trauma experiences.

Please see below some of the comments from current doctors within St Andrews healthcare:
“The working environment is conducive for anyone wanting to learn and progress in medicine. In particular, you will have plenty of senior support and guidance.(I don’t know of any previous post I’ve worked in, in which I have had as much access to a my Supervising Consultant/GP).
At St Andrew’s you will definitely feel you are a genuine and appreciated contributor to the Multidisciplinary Team. And, you will certainly feel you are making a positive difference in patient’s lives.”
