The role

This is a newly created role designed to deliver outstanding customer service to those in our care by working in partnership with commissioners, case managers and referrers, as well the Charity’s people and Integrated Practice Units (IPUs),  To achieve this you will lead the customer service, marketing, commercial, market analytics and admissions functions within the Charity.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Meeting the needs of our customers by building responsive and positive relationships
  • Working with partners to plan, implement and evaluate new models of community service provision
  • Working with our IPUs to maximise service quality and effectiveness, including delivery of CQUIN requirements, by supporting the strategic development of their services
  • Managing annual contract negotiations with our NHS, CCG and other customers
  • Developing effective key account plans for NHS England and NHS Wales to support delivery of their objectives
  • Contributing to the development of the Charity’s strategic aims and objectives

About you

You will be an experienced and inspiring leader with significant experience of working within mental health and learning disabilities care.  You’ll have a strong track record in the management of projects that deliver large scale change within complex organisations, delivering on quality, budget and programme measures.  You will ideally have experience within the NHS, Social Care and Housing sectors. You’ll also have an in depth understanding of the key contractual mechanisms required by the NHS including tender development and submission.

You will have the moral courage and integrity to challenge the status quo and improve care quality.  You will have a strong history of innovation, and the communication and influencing skills to engage with senior internal and external stakeholders.
