St Andrew’s Healthcare is a charity providing specialist mental healthcare services. We work in partnership with a number of NHS, voluntary, educational and research organisations to deliver a range of specialist inpatient and community mental healthcare services, education and research that helps to improve the lives of people with complex mental health needs.

At our Birmingham site we provide medium and low secure services for men and women with mental illness alongside our Reach Out network collegues. Our aim is to provide high-quality assessment, care and treatment, helping patients to progress to the least restrictive setting by equipping them with the skills required to live as independently as possible, closer to communities of their choosing.

Our teams are multi-disciplinary with extensive knowledge, skills and experience of working with individuals within a low and medium secure forensic setting. We include patients in planning their care, valuing and embracing each and every individual’s unique qualities.

You and the role

We are currently looking to appoint a qualified or newly qualified Psychologist who has experience or an interest of working with complex and challenging patient groups, and will be eligible for, or hold HCPC registration.
