You will join a wide team of over 50 registered Psychologists based across our 3 sites (Northampton, Birmingham and Essex) and our Community Partnerships division. As such, there will be lots of support for someone early in their career along with great opportunities for more experienced psychologists to progress in their future too.

The Service
As a result of changes within our services a post has arisen for a Clinical Psychologist to work within the low secure and PICU teams. The successful applicant will be joining a well-established psychology department which offers professional support and a wide range of expertise. Psychology is highly valued within the service and is embedded within a multi-disciplinary approach. We are seeking keen team players who adopt a person-centred approach to care, and a recovery focus towards rehabilitation practices aiming to optimise each individual’s progress through treatment.
You will be able to access excellent opportunities for continuing professional development including engagement with our academic centre and research teams; attendance at our weekly CPD events that are delivered by a range of internal and external experts in their field; and will join a large network of experienced clinicians working across our inpatient and community services.

Working within the community partnership team can help provide opportunities to develop skills and confidence working more independently, which would be beneficial for work in private practice if that was a future career development objective.
