Covid Vaccinators Nurse

Are you a qualified General Nurse, Occupational Health Nurse, Mental Health Nurse or Learning Disability Nurse looking for a flexible role or working flexible hours?

We are looking for qualified nurses who want to work anything from 15 – 37.5 hours a week to support our vaccination program over the next 5 months.

We have requirements early in the day before 8am, in the evening after 5pm, weekend and Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm too so open to hours people can work around their personal life.

Location: Northampton

Salary range: £28,000 - £36,000 dependant on experience

Full Time but Part Time / Flexible Working Will Be Considered

The role

Covid Vaccinators to help vaccinate St Andrew Staff (5 months fixed contract)  

We are looking for looking for either full or part time vaccinators who can participate in the Covid-19 vaccination service and flu vaccination program.

We are ideally looking for Registered nurses with previous vaccination training and possess some experience in administering vaccinations, with also training in BLS or ILS.

Vaccination takes place Monday to Friday,  with some few weekends and  so we will be flexible with hours.

Key job roles

Drawing up & preparing Covid-19 vaccination doses from vials.

Health screening of  patients to check they are eligible for vaccination.

Administering Covid-19 vaccinations at 5-minute intervals.

Work as a team with pharmacy staff & volunteers to maximise number of vaccinations and minimise wastage of Covid-19 doses.
