Working at St Andrew’s Healthcare - Birmingham
It’s time to empower your career at St Andrew's Healthcare within our unique mental health charity aspiring to deliver excellence on patient outcomes. Our purpose is to relieve suffering, give hope and promote recovery in providing the best care possible to our patients. We have a number of great opportunities for Healthcare Assistants and Registered Nurses with a good understanding of services. However experience in this area is not essential as all staff will be supported through local induction and provided with mentorship as an employee within St Andrews.
You will be part of our wider nursing and clinical teams focusing on our patients treatment and recovery. We do this by providing safe, effective, patient-centred care in line with national standards set by the Quality Network for Forensic Mental Health Services, essential standards from the CQC, and best practice guidance relevant to secure care from the National Institute of Health and Social Care Excellence (NICE).
Our patients and your colleagues will expect you to live the St Andrew’s CARE values of Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Excellence every single day.
Applications are welcomed from well-motivated individuals who are able to demonstrate high standards of care and empathy, and who possess good communication skills alongside good IT literacy.
At St Andrew’s you can enjoy a special sense of pride and belonging – by helping transform the lives of patients, while shaping the future you want for yourself. We’re the UK’s leading mental healthcare charity with an excellent and well-deserved reputation as a provider of specialist mental healthcare.
