Salary: From £20,000 - £25,000 depending on experience, 

37.5 hours per week

We have an opportunity for a Housekeeping Team Leader to join the team of staff in the Housekeeping department.

Your role with us

Here at our Northampton site we are recruiting for a Housekeeping Team Leader. Your duties will include the following,

• Plan and prepare employee work schedules. Performing and assisting with cleaning duties as necessary ( central cleaning, Ward Clinical Cleaning, laundry team )
• Coordinate activities with other departments to ensure that services are provided in an efficient and timely manner (auditing)
• Inspect work performed to ensure that it meets specifications and established standards
• Implement operational standards and procedures
• Instruct staff in work policies and procedures, and the use and maintenance of equipment
• Inventory stock to ensure that supplies and equipment are available in adequate amounts
   
  Required skills and Responsibilities of the Role
   
• Previous experience of working in healthcare or similar environment
• Previous experience of managing a team is desirable
• Knowledge of COSHH is essential
