Resuscitation Lead/Medical Devices Safety Officer

Ready for a new challenge implementing physical health excellence across our services?

Location: Northampton
Salary: £40,000-49,000
Hours: Full-time

Are you a senior healthcare professional with experience in delivering resuscitation and an in-depth understanding of resuscitation standards? Do you have the knowledge and abilities to manage a medical devices portfolio or interest in developing new skills to do this?  Have you ever considered applying your knowledge and experience in a different health care setting? If the answer is yes then an exciting new challenge awaits you at St Andrew’s Healthcare.

The successful candidate would be supported to continue working in an active resuscitation environment and to provide resuscitation training

You can achieve more at St Andrew’s Healthcare

St Andrew’s Healthcare is a charity providing specialist mental healthcare services. We work in partnership with a number of NHS, voluntary, educational and research organisations to deliver a range of specialist inpatient and community mental healthcare services, education and research that helps to improve the lives of people with complex mental health needs.

The Role

We are looking for a credible, passionate and enthusiastic paramedic, registered nurse (adult) or operating department practitioner with demonstrable knowledge and experience of working within an established resuscitation service. Experience of medical device management would be advantageous, however for the right candidate we would be happy to develop your knowledge and skills in this area.

We welcome applications from registered professionals currently not working within mental health services who have transferable knowledge and skills to support our agenda. If you are ready for a challenging and very satisfying role, where you can lead service developments and make a real difference for patients, carers, families and staff, we would like to hear from you!

The successful candidate will be based at Headquarters, Northampton but will need to work flexibly to meet the needs of the whole charity; this will include some cross site working.

There’s no doubt that this can be a demanding post working in a fast paced environment, however, for the right individual, this will be a hugely rewarding role as part of a family orientated, friendly team.

Our patients and your colleagues will expect you to live the St Andrew’s CARE values of Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Excellence every single day.

Reward

We offer an excellent benefits package including pension, 38 days holiday, sickness policy on par with NHS, life cover, car lease scheme, cycle to work scheme, stunning work environment and opportunities for continuing professional development.
