St Andrew's Northampton

Our services at Northampton are based on the site of our original Northampton Hospital.

Here we have our St Andrew's headquarters, our Outpatient services and the Northampton arm of our Adult Care services on one site. 

Head office

Our head office hosts a large part of our central team, this includes our Executives, IT, Operational and Business Development Team, Communications and Marketing. 

Outpatient services 

Address: 80 Billing Road, Northampton NN1 5DG 

Our outpatient services deliver expert assessment, therapeutic interventions and ongoing support for people who can be treated outside an inpatient setting. 

We provide access to highly experienced clinicians and specialist multidisciplinary teams across a wide range of mental health services, supporting individuals, families, professionals, legal teams and organisations.

Adult Care services

Our community placements provide the right level of specialist support, helping people live as independently as possible while maintaining their wellbeing and quality of life. 

Residents are supported to develop independent living skills and engage with their local communities, all within a calm, safe and homely environment. Our experienced teams provide personalised support that enables each person to achieve their goals and thrive.

How to get here 

By car: St Andrew’s Northampton is located just east of Northampton town centre. From Junction 15 on the M1, take the A45 towards Northampton town centre and continue for approximately three miles, passing the Queen Eleanor Hotel on your right. Stay on the dual carriageway. At the junction just before the flyover, filter off to the left, following signs to the General Hospital. Take the first left on the roundabout and then take the right-hand lane to turn onto Cliftonville at the BMW garage traffic lights. For our main hospital site continue straight up the hill. At the top of the hill turn right at the traffic lights onto the Billing Road. St Andrew’s gates one, two and three are on your right-hand side along this road.

Please note, free car parking is available on site. 

By bus: Regular bus services run along the Billing Road and Cliftonville. See www.stagecoachbus.com and www.northamptonshire.gov.uk/bustimes for timetables. 

By train: Northampton train station is located approximately two miles from St Andrew’s. There is a taxi rank outside the train station.
