Hours: Part Time - Fixed Term Contract for up to 12-months.

We are looking to recruit a HCPC Registered Art Psychotherapist to work with adult patients within our specialist Deaf Services. Applications are welcomed from individuals who have qualifications in or are fluent in British Sign Language (BSL), and/or are deaf themselves.

The Service

The role will be based primarily on our male medium secure ward (Fairbairn), a ward that provides support, care and treatment for D/deaf or hearing impaired (profound, severe, partial or hard of hearing) patients with complex mental illness in a culturally sensitive environment.

The Role

We seek one part-time HCPC Registered Art Psychotherapist, to work three days a week ( 22.5 hours).

As an Art Psychotherapist, you will be supported in your therapeutic role by an established psychology team, which includes clinical and forensic psychologists, another qualified art psychotherapist, and assistant psychologists. You will also be a key member of a multi-disciplinary team alongside our highly regarded colleagues from Psychiatry, Nursing, Social Work, Occupational Therapy and other specialist disciplines.

Clinical supervision will be provided to the successful applicant, which meets HCPC requirements.
