Festivol is back! Saturday 2 September at Workbridge

Come along to Workbridge on Saturday 2 September to find out about the benefits of volunteering, while enjoying live music, street food, shopping, mocktails, games and more!

Throughout the day there will be plenty of opportunity to find out about volunteering, with stalls including St Andrew's Voluntary Services, Cynthia Spencer, Mind, Pink Rooster, Northampton Domestic Abuse Service (NDAS), Volunteer Passport, DeafConnect, NAYC Youthwork Association and more.

The event will also feature food and drink from local artisans, including The Flavour Trailer (legendary Burgers and chips), Mario's (ice cream), Jute (freshly made coffee) and The Cocktail and Cupcake Club, as well as food and drinks from our very own award-winning Workbridge coffee shop. Vegan and vegetarian options will be available, and parking and entry is free.

There will also be Workbridge’s Charity Shop, Garden Centre and Creative Woodwork and Ceramic Studio to browse, alongside a variety of craft stalls.

Festivol is held in the beautiful surroundings of Workbridge and everyone is welcome.  This is a free event that is open to everyone.

PLUS! If you register for the FestiVol on our Eventbrite page, you’ll automatically be entered into a free prize draw to win prizes, including a £150 gift voucher for a top Northamptonshire Spa Hotel.

Dawn Wright, FestiVol organiser and Voluntary Services Manager at St Andrew’s explained: "This is the third year we have held Festivol, and we are exceptionally excited!  With more charities, Live music; a motorbike and car attraction;  a drumming and bagpipe circle; a meditation area, a Tropical Garden and our very own “WoofStock” (our Pets As Therapy dogs Cuddle Corner and Crufts Show) adding to the laid back, fun and sunshiny festival vibes - This year’s event is set to be bigger and better than last year's.

“At St Andrew’s we have around 350 volunteers who bring a special kind of magic to our patients, contributing to their recovery in a variety of different ways. When volunteering, you will have the chance to learn new skills, make new friends and to meet and volunteer with people who have a variety of backgrounds, cultures, interests and skills. So if you have ever thought about volunteering,  for any reason at all then, come along and find out more!
