The role
This is a senior leadership role which will report to the Deputy Director of Nursing and Quality and work closely with the Executive Director of Nursing and Quality to provide strong professional leadership across the scope of the patient safety and quality agenda to ensure high quality safe clinical care is delivered consistently across the Charity.
You will work collaboratively to lead the direction of Charity Quality Strategy ensuring frameworks are in place with effective processes, systems and training to support our people to implement these frameworks to ensure safe, high-quality care for patients. Your responsibilities will include:
About you
You will have significant experience of working within the Patient Safety field with high level knowledge of all current issues, including regulatory requirements related to safety and quality and regulation. You will bring extensive experience of managing and motivating diverse and multi-professional teams and have a strong track record of achieving quality improvements.
You will hold a relevant specialist clinical/healthcare qualification and professional registration.
You will also bring experience of achieving improvements for patients through service transformation involving staff, patients, their families and other stakeholders. You will have both the breadth and depth of skills to fulfil the role described above and strong leadership skills to inspire and lead with a focus on excellence and accountability.
You will also be a role model for the St Andrew’s CARE values and the pillars of our Leadership Commitment including compassionate, person-centred care.
