Why choose St Andrew's Healthcare

Here at St Andrew's Healthcare, we support people with a range of complex cognitive, physical and psychological needs following a brain injury, and enable them to build the skills and confidence they need to achieve their recovery goals.

We deliver personalised care through a range of specialist interventions for adults with acquired brain injury whose complex behaviours and needs are impacting their quality of life, or who present with a risk profile which other acute or rehabilitation services may struggle to provide for.

Using a neuropsychiatric and behavioural approach, our full-time, on-site multidisciplinary team support people in their recovery to re-learn the skills they will need to live more independently.

We also deliver separate on-site specialist care for those with progressive neurological conditions, such as complex dementia and Huntington’s disease (HD)

Our single sex services offer a continuity of care from medium secure to enhanced inpatient rehabilitation and hospital registered housing in the community.

Introducing Rob Walsh our Service Development Manager

As Service Development Manager, Rob's primary role is to support commissioning teams and referrers through the process of admitting people to our care.

Having worked in the Neuropsychiatry Division for 10 years, Rob has an excellent knowledge of the therapeutic outcomes that each ward delivers, and provides an initial contact point to discuss possible referrals and help direct them through our Admissions team.

Rob is available to support enquiries, and our clinical teams are happy to engage with referrers and commissioners to help them understand what is available at St Andrew’s, or to signpost them to alternative provision.

Click on the button to 'request a call', provide your details and Rob will call you back to help with any questions you may have.

Francis talks about his time at St Andrew’s following a TBI

"Before I came to St Andrew's I had no hope that I was ever going to make a recovery, but this place has just turned things around...My message to staff at St Andrew's, for future reference, don't change a bit. Because I wouldn't have achieved this without you."

“St Andrew's helped me with a lot of things… and now they’ve moved me to my own flat where I’m as free as a bird. I’m feeling so confident because the staff are really incredible here, their motive is totally clear, to help the patients and they deliver it one hundred percent.”
