We are St Andrew’s — a mental health charity with a clear purpose: to inspire hope for people living with complex mental health needs. Our Birmingham site is on an ambitious improvement journey, redesigning pathways, strengthening patient flow and transforming how secure care supports recovery.
As we continue to evolve, we’re looking for a Social Worker who has completed ASYE and is passionate about safe, timely discharge planning and who thrives in a fast‑moving, collaborative environment.
About the Role
As a Social Worker within our secure services, you’ll be a key driver of effective discharge planning, reduced length of stay and improved patient progression. You’ll work closely with the Discharge Liaison Nurse, MDTs and external agencies to ensure every patient has a clear, coordinated pathway out of secure care.
