Trevor Torrington appointed as CEO

The Board of St Andrew’s Healthcare has today announced the appointment of Trevor Torrington as Interim Chief Executive Officer.

With a career in healthcare leadership, Trevor previously served as CEO of Priory Group before going on to help establish Aspris, that was spun out of Priory.

Steve Gray, Chair of St Andrew’s, said: “I am pleased to appoint Trevor as CEO, who brings extensive leadership and experience to the role. Working closely with the Board and St Andrew’s Executive team, Trevor will lead the charity through its restructuring and help set the direction for its next phase.”

Trevor said: “St Andrew’s was created nearly two centuries ago to help some of the most vulnerable people in our society. Although the charity has faced significant challenges in recent years, the need to support people with complex mental health needs has never been greater. I am determined to help reshape St Andrew’s so that it can continue to deliver on its mission for years to come.”

Trevor will start on 7 April 2026.
